*** The Official Gazette of last Tuesday appears an amendment to the Act National Armed Forces to entirely change the political landscape, to give the President effective tool to "correct" any "error" of voters. The surprise effect explained that Members of the Opposition and the party leadership failed to react to a decisive change in the Organic Law of the National Armed Forces (LOFAN) published in Official Gazette on Tuesday. This is a reform that touches on the structure of Venezuelan society and totally changes the political perspective that has been driving. Of course a top priority issue for parliamentary committees and those responsible for the Constitution and the Armed Forces.
